Little Artists
MONDAYS 3:50pm-4:50pm
Little Artists have lots of fun while exploring drawing, painting, sculpture and print-making. Participants are given a new theme each term and respond to it in ways that include their own feelings, thoughts and interests.
They learn foundational skills in each art form and develop fine motor skills while also enjoying the innate freedom of expression.
Through being exposed to other’s artworks (be it their fellow group members’ or well-known Artists), they are guided to develop their curiosity and awareness for the arts as a universal tool for expression. This includes learning and using arts literacy. They additionally collaborate with each-other to build ideas and reflect as a group.
